About benidorm

Camping Benisol offers you accommodation in Benidorm, in one of the most appealing campsites on the Costa Blanca, situated in an exceptional environment, close to the sea and to all the leisure places, which makes it a place for an unforgettable vacation.

Also, if you want to enjoy a calm and relaxing stay in a mild climate during the winter, you will have the possibility to make it true in a welcoming atmosphere where we take special care of the natural environment we are situated in.
In summertime we have shady pitches.

Our mild weather is well-known for its beneficial effects on health. The annual mean temperature is about 19ºC/66ºF. Benidorm´s main appeal are the clean top ranking blue flag beaches.
These three beaches are :

  • Levante : the most popular, busy day and night with tourists and close to most of the hotels
  • Poniente (West) : calmer and quieter
  • Mal Pas : the cove between the 2 main beaches in front of Benidorm´s old town, behind the harbour

The three beaches are carefully cleaned daily, and the water quality is continuously controlled. On the beaches there are facilities for public enjoyment, such as ´biblioplayas´(beach libraries), accessible areas for people with reduced mobility, areas for kids games, volley nets, etc.

A special atmosphere

Benidorm is a tourist resort and inhabited by people from very different places. It enjoys a special, very cosmopolitan and multicultural atmosphere, which is reflected in its celebrations and festivals, be it those of local of regional origin (the local fiestas in honour of the saint patron, Fallas, Midsummer, Moors and Christians), those that have their origin in other areas of Spain (the Corpus, the Virgin of Covadonga, Sanfermines) or even some foreign celebrations (the Dutch Oranjefeest of Saint Patrick´s Day). This applies as well for the shows and cultural activities, both public and private.

An international library can be found in the Rincon de Loix. Also, when it comes to eating and drinking, the mix of cultures is felt in the streets of Benidorm. You will be able to try the most varied gastronomy, national as well as international, and, of course, the local specialties : rices (dry or soggy), fideua, cocas, fish and seafood, and the excellent wines produced in the province of Alicante. And we shouldn´t forget the delicious ´horchata´and the ice-creams. In this town where everyone is welcome, several hotels and other businesses aimed at gay tourism have opened up in the last few years. It is worth pointing out that Benidorm is the scenario for the Pride Gay Parade in October.

Beside the different shops you will come accross all over town, it is possible to visit the following ´mercadillos´ (outdoor markets) :

  • Monday : La Nucía
